We are proud to have Jon Hunter's art displayed on SouthHaven.com! He brings over 40 years experience working as a Graphic Artist, Designer, Art Director and Illustrator for national and international audiences to our web address. As an illustrator, Jon has created spot and editorial illustrations, book and record jackets, t-shirts, cartoons, and architectural renderings. He has also designed and rendered special edition automobiles for the "Big 3" in the Motor City.
Jon now works primarily in Watercolor and Gouache, sketching and painting on location as well as in his Grand Rapids studio.
Many of you may recognize Jon's work from when he participated in art fairs in the South Haven and Saugatuck-Douglas areas in the 90s. Best known for his landscapes, wildlife drawings and marine paintings he returns to the lakeshore this summer, leaving the "corporate world" behind.
